About Us:
What is Our Purpose?
We believe that life is a Journey with God and with others. Our ministry breaks down into five areas we are commited to coaching students in.
Pray:
Every day, you communicate with other people. You talk, you listen, you talk some more, and you listen some more. That’s communication—interacting with another person. Just as you interact with others, God wants you to interact with Him. God wants you to communicate and interact with Him through a personal relationship.
“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16, NIV).
Tell:
Tell her/his friends and others about about Jesus. Be able to share her/his story of how jesus has changed your life.
“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15,NIV)
Give:
Give time and finances to promote Jesus’ hope locally and globally.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”
(2 Corinthians 9:6,7, NIV).
Serve:
Serve in a local church and on a campus. Serve in or begin an active campus club.
“...whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:26-28, NIV).
Live:
Live a real, consistent Christian faith by honoring God with his/her actions, reading, studying, and application of God's Word and spending time in personal worship.
“Be careful how you live among your unbelieving neighbors. Even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will believe and give honor to God when he comes to judge the world” (1 Peter 2:12, NLT).
